Happy Thanksgiving!
We continue our stay in the super small town of Chicago with its totally independent small time parade to finish our discussion of Hallmark’s Love at the Thanksgiving Day Parade. We learn about best days ever, free pizza for life, and super orphans. We also head to the grocery store to pick up an insane amount of ice cream.
We kick off Thanksgiving Week with an extra-long prediction episode on a film with an extra-long title: Hallmark’s Love at the Thanksgiving Day Parade. It hits all the familiar beats you want from a Hallmark film and gives us plenty of speculating to do. We also talk proposals, smother mothers, and Frasier.
Part 2 drops Thanksgiving Day.
We’re back to randomly select another dog movie to watch over on Patreon. To hear our full discussion, jump into hyperspace and head over to patreon.com/predictocast.
On this week’s mini episode, we welcome Forge Audio co-founders Jared and Nathan to discuss the parade-centric movie we’re covering next week, decide just how literal the title will be, and wonder how horny this movie is gonna get.
Check out Jared and Nathan’s show Hi Hungry I’m Dad wherever you get podcasts and find all the other great Forge Audio shows at forgeaudio.net.
We arrive in the New World as we wrap up our discussion of Mayflower: The Pilgrims’ Adventure. Anthony Hopkins continues to be a class act (except when he’s threatening to murder his wife), Michael Beck can’t keep a handle on his accent to save his life, and Waluigi’s sick wife tries to help him get laid.
We set sail on a grand journey with the first part of our coverage of 1979’s Mayflower: The Pilgrim’s Adventure. As the disclaimer up front explains, we are real dumb-dumbs when it comes to American history so we spend a lot of this episode actively researching Thanksgiving on air. We also talk about Anthony Hopkins’ insane charisma and the casual way they reveal a character’s sordid past.
Part 2 drops Thursday!
On this month’s Patreon-exclusive JASTAS, Josh and Skinner discuss Thanksgivings together and apart, technology troubles, and terrible riddles. Enjoy this free clip and listen to the full episode at patreon.com/predictocast.
We kick off our Month of Thanks by talking about the Pilgrims (and their mouse counterparts), Anthony Hopkins, and we thank our Patreon subscribers.
